While my application was already approved, I wanted to share my experience with the process to help maybe put some minds at ease. Time-line- applied 10/25 in the afternoon. Approved 1/7 in the morning. My beneficiary is my fiancé and I stated that on my application. When I filled out the application I submitted the following, my passport, pay stubs, my account information, also I want note that I use an online bank so there is not actual branch for me to go in and get a letter stating when I opened my account, I simply downloaded my first time I opened my account in a PDF document and uploaded that. I also only downloaded my last 5 months statements and uploaded those. Next was 2 of my pay stubs in a PDF as well. Then a letter from the company I work for stating how much I make, showing the I am permanent and full time from my human resources department. I scanned that, and my passport and uploaded those. And also sent my 2021 W2 tax return. I entered in 0 assets for both me and my beneficiary, as well as 0 for bonds. I also want to add that I did show how much was in my bank account, I do not believe there is a set amount for that. I hope this helps a little bit, from personal experience it was frustrating to see approved application's that were sent in after mine, and that not knowing for a while was very nerve racking. They seem to do some approvals super-fast and other seem to sit. The average seems to be 60 to 75 days. Good luck to everyone and say positive.
